Arivo, operated by UTMIQ (PVT) LTD, connects businesses to the WhatsApp Business Platform through Meta's Embedded Signup. This page explains what we hold about a connected WhatsApp account and how to have it deleted.
What we store for a connected WhatsApp account
- The WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display number and display name you shared with us during signup.
- The encrypted access token Meta issued for your business, and your Meta user ID (used only to recognise your deauthorisation or deletion request).
- The WhatsApp conversations between your customers and your assistant, and any leads captured from them.
Option 1 — Delete through Facebook
- Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and Websites).
- Find Arivo and choose Remove, tick Delete posts, videos or events on Facebook if shown, then confirm.
- Facebook notifies us automatically. We immediately stop using your access, then erase the data listed above and give you a confirmation code you can use to check progress.
Option 2 — Disconnect inside Arivo
In your dashboard go to Channels and choose Disconnect on WhatsApp. This removes the connection and its token straight away and stops Meta sending us that number's messages. To erase the stored conversations too, use Option 1 or Option 3.
Option 3 — Ask us
Email [email protected] from your account email address, mentioning your WhatsApp number, and we will erase the data within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Check the status of a request
Requests made through Facebook return a confirmation code and a link of the form https://arivo.utmiq.com/data-deletion/status/<code>. Open it at any time to see whether the deletion has completed.
What we may keep
Orders and bookings your business recorded are that business's own transactional records; they are detached from the deleted conversation but may be retained where the law requires. Backups are overwritten on our normal rotation. See our Privacy Policy for details.
